License and access permit
Georgia fishing license where required; Rocky Mountain also requires its direct-purchase parking/entry pass. A Lands Pass alone does not authorize fishing.
When you can go
Use the official area rules for current species seasons, legal hours and any area-specific closures. This record does not confirm access for a particular date.
Area restrictions
Heath Lake opens only the 1st–10th each month and has a 14–20-inch bass release slot. Antioch is listed year-round. Lakes are idle-only; no jet skis or alcohol. Follow current creel rules.
Plan with the official agency
The agency documents public recreational fishing at this named access, using ordinary fishing licenses or direct-purchase entry. This record excludes controlled events and any separately restricted activities.
No lottery is required for the described access and species. Other hunts on the same property may require a drawing. Check current seasons, closures, check-in and capacity before traveling; open access does not reserve an exclusive spot.
Agency sources reviewed 2026-10-07. Official property/access information and current state license/rule sources reviewed October 7, 2026. This is a planning record; check current notices before travel. Public entry is arranged with the agency, with no Back40 booking fee.
