A hold only protects those dates on Back40 Pass. It is not permission to enter. Confirm the access agreement, boundary, entry instructions, required licenses, and any payment terms before traveling.

Can I pay and book a hunt today?
Not yet. You can search reviewed listings, request dates, and use an eligible owner-authorized hold. Paid checkout and payouts are not active. No request or hold grants access.
What will fees and cancellations look like?
At paid launch, listing is free, landowners pay a 15% commission, and hunters pay no separate Back40 service fee. Owner transfers are targeted for 48 hours after the hunt ends, subject to settlement and review. Read the approved payment and cancellation policy →
Does a price cover everyone?
The listed daily land-access price covers the approved party up to the property limit. Your selected dates determine the access subtotal. It is not a final checkout total.
Am I guaranteed to see or harvest game?
No. Hunting is unpredictable. Look for accurate habitat descriptions and recent information, and ask questions about expectations before making plans.
Can I come alone or bring a first-time hunter?
Check the party limit and ask the owner about suitability, terrain, and any supervision requirements. A land-access listing does not include a guide, equipment, license, or instruction unless explicitly stated.
What if nothing matches?
Set a new-hunt alert or create a specific hunter request. You can also use our official walk-in access finder while the private marketplace grows.

Payment processing and owner payouts, final agreements, applicable coverage, and support for cancellations and refunds must be ready before paid passes launch. Back40 Pass does not currently promise insurance coverage.
