Free publisher kit · All 50 states · Official sources

Publish sourced permission facts—not a legal guess.

Create a state resource link, ready-to-use newsletter and share copy, or a small Back40 Pass card for a hunting club, outfitter, publication, or landowner page. The kit publishes qualified facts only when a state passes the evidence gate.

Educational information only. The card is not legal advice, a license, permission, or a substitute for current official and property-specific rules.

Choose, preview, publish

One state. A complete publisher kit.

Choose the property state, theme, and an optional public organization slug. Copy a clean state link, newsletter copy, share copy, or the generated HTML. The loader keeps the embedded frame height in sync automatically.

If supplied, this exact slug is public in generated URLs and embed code. Use an organization label only—never a person, email address, page URL, or private identifier. It is not automatically changed or corrected.

Publisher kit

The embed is passive and read-only. It stores no host-page impression event; readers reach measurable first-party pages only after choosing a link inside the card.

Method, freshness, and limits

Facts fail closed when evidence falls short.

The current release was reviewed August 14, 2026. It is a dated source review—not live legal monitoring—and every reader should open the current official material.

1 · EVIDENCE GATE

Qualified facts only

A verified card is generated from the claim-mapped 50-state dataset only after its broad rule, scope, exceptions, and cited official sources pass the same evidence gate used by the canonical state research.

2 · INCOMPLETE STATES

No confident-sounding filler

Partial or needs-review records say “Evidence review incomplete.” The widget omits classification, proof, carry, presentation, and form facts, then points readers to official sources and the full state research.

3 · OFFICIAL CHECK

The source controls

Statewide summaries cannot settle federal, tribal, county, municipal, land-status, species, method, date, or property-specific rules. They also do not establish who can grant access.

Audit the underlying evidence

Compare every state in the written-permission matrix, inspect the full JSON source dataset, or download the versioned widget feed. The full source dataset preserves claim-to-source mapping beyond the compact facts shown in the widget.

Small privacy surface

The embed informs. It does not profile.

The embedded view has no form, cookies, local-storage writes, or analytics events. It posts only its non-sensitive height and state code to the host page so the frame can resize.

HOST-PAGE BOUNDARY

Sandboxed and read-only

The loader creates a sandboxed iframe. The card cannot inspect the host page, and the host does not receive browsing details from inside the card. State and theme are the only required configuration values.

ATTRIBUTION

Public slug, measured only after a click

Back40 Pass attribution is attached to outbound links. An optional organization slug is public in generated URLs and embed code; it can label those visits, but the widget itself sends no event. Keep the visible Back40 Pass fallback link in the generated snippet.

Before you publish

Keep the card intact and the caveat visible.

Do not present the widget as personal legal advice, proof of permission, or a promise that a rule has not changed since the review date. Link readers to current agencies and verify the actual property and hunt.
