Missouri archery opens September 15Founding access requests are open

For Missouri hunters

Good ground shouldn’t depend on who your uncle knows.

Tell us the county, dates, game, and party size. We’ll use real hunter demand to recruit founding land nearby—and notify you when an approved property is ready to request.

Joining is free and does not grant permission to enter land.

The launch standard

Know before you pull through the gate.

01

Dates, not vague permission

Every request has a defined start and end. No guessing whether last year’s handshake still counts.

02

Boundaries you can review

See the property outline, entry, parking, and excluded areas before a pass is accepted.

03

Rules in one place

Game, method, guest limits, vehicles, stands, gates, and property-specific expectations.

04

Owner-approved access

A request is not a booking. The landowner reviews the party and accepts before access is issued.

Starting close to home

Why Missouri—and why Kansas City first?

A marketplace works when enough land and enough hunters meet in the same place at the same time. Back40 Pass is concentrating on the Kansas City drive market and nearby whitetail counties before expanding across the state.

Shape the supply

Your request is our landowner recruiting map.

Add the details that matter. We’ll aggregate demand by area without publishing your personal information.

After you join
  1. We log your county, game, and timing.
  2. We recruit and review land around concentrated demand.
  3. You get first notice when a relevant property is ready.

Hunter questions

Can I book land today?

Not yet. Back40 Pass is in its founding-property stage. The current site collects real demand and landowner interest; bookable access opens only after the property and launch operations are ready.

Does joining give me permission to hunt?

No. Only a future accepted access request for specific dates and property can grant permission. You must still carry all required permits and follow Missouri regulations.

What will a pass include?

The launch standard includes the approved party, access dates, property boundary, entry and parking, property rules, game and methods allowed, and the landowner’s acceptance.

Will access be exclusive?

That will be property- and date-specific. Any exclusivity, guest limits, or other parties on the property will be stated before a hunter requests access.
