- For an HMA, obtain the applicable printed permission slip and read that HMA's ranch rules before entry.
- For a Walk-In Hunting Area, use the current property map and species listing; the absence of an individual permission slip does not remove parcel conditions.
- Match the hunting license's area and type to the access parcel, since a valid hunt-area license does not itself establish permission across private land.
