Who may qualify: Private property that can provide hunting access, or a route into otherwise difficult-to-reach public or state land, may be considered for a Walk-In Hunting Area or Hunter Management Area agreement.
Owner control: The owner and WGFD negotiate the enrolled area, species, open dates, agreement length, and ranch-specific rules; WGFD then handles maps, hunter instructions, and the applicable access process.
Official next step: Contact a regional Access Yes coordinator, local game warden, wildlife biologist, or regional office to discuss a current property-specific access agreement.
