Know exactly who has granted access, for which hunters, and on which dates.

Property boundary

Review the parcel edge, excluded areas, neighboring property, and any internal zones.

Entry and parking

Know the gate, route, parking spot, vehicle rules, and what to do if conditions change.

Game and method

Make sure the owner’s rules and your permits cover the intended species and method.

Party and guests

Name every hunter and confirm whether non-hunting guests, youth, or dogs are allowed.

Check-in and exit

Agree on arrival, departure, gates, stands, harvest reporting, and property condition.

Missouri’s fall 2026 archery deer season opens September 15. The first segment runs through November 13, followed by a second segment from November 25, 2026 through January 15, 2027.

When is Missouri’s November firearms deer season in 2026?

The November portion of Missouri’s 2026 firearms deer season runs November 14–24.

Does a Back40 Pass replace a Missouri hunting permit?

No. Private-property access and hunting permits are separate. Hunters remain responsible for current permits, tagging, county restrictions, methods, seasons, and every other applicable regulation.

Can I enter land after joining the Back40 Pass list?

No. Joining is only an access request. Entry would require a future, property-specific pass accepted by the landowner for exact dates.
