Texas hunting license, $48 annual APH permit for adults, required endorsements and hunter education. Complete on-site/electronic registration where the unit requires it.
When you can go
2026–27: Central Zone dove and early teal dates only. Squirrel/rabbit/hog take is permitted only while hunting dove or teal; ordinary duck/goose seasons are not included.
Area restrictions
Shotguns are the only means allowed. All small-game/hog take must be concurrent with authorized dove/early-teal hunts.
Plan with the official agency
The current unit Legal Game Box lists these ordinary APH/daily-permit hunts separately from selection hunts. No draw or E-postcard position is included.
No lottery is required for the described access and species. Other hunts on the same property may require a drawing. Check current seasons, closures, check-in and capacity before traveling; open access does not reserve an exclusive spot.
Agency sources reviewed 2026-10-07. TPWD 2026–27 Area/Legal Game Search plus this unit’s 2026–27 legal-game PDF; current executive-order removal list checked. Public entry is arranged with the agency, with no Back40 booking fee.
